Allen Scott – Founder, CEO
Allen Scott found Rise Technical Group in 2018, when he noticed a need for managed IT services for small business. For over 20 years he has gained knowledge in the IT field, as well as business, at such companies as Navient (Information Security Analyst), Miraca Life Sciences (Help Desk/System Administrator), and Keyed Communications (System Administrator). Always a problem solver, Allen is constantly looking for ways that technology can save time and money, and ultimately make jobs easier. While at Miraca, he designed and implemented a new paperless system which increased productivity, reduced user error, and also saved the company thousands of dollars a month.
In his down time, Allen enjoys cooking, spending time with his wife Nica and their two kids, and is also the Assistant Coach for the Lake-Lehman Junior High wrestling team.
Nica Scott – Web Designer, Marketing, IT Technician
Nica Scott joined forces with her husband Allen, to launch Rise Technical Group in 2018. Her duties began as marketing and administration, but she quickly found her footing in tech as a spreadsheet whiz and web designer. Prior to Rise, she was the Product Designer/Project Manager at Kleen Concepts, and the Studio Assistant at Heather Bailey Studios. During her tenure at Kleen Concepts, she helped the company launch new product lines, including a line of licensed Hello Kitty products, and kept the company’s projects in line and on time with her stellar organizational skills.
Nica is a graduate of Arizona State University, where she majored in Industrial Design. When she’s not keeping busy with Rise, or chasing after her two children, you can find her drawing or writing over at Fledgling Studios.
